Creative & Experiential Tour (5 days/4 nights)
From wine painting workshops and hands-on cooking with local families to folk crafts, music, and village traditions, these immersive experiences connect you with Moldova’s people, stories, and authentic way of life—turning every moment into a meaningful memory.
Tour Itinerary:
Upon arrival at Chisinau Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.
In the first part of the day, enjoy a Chisinau Walking Tour. You’ll explore the city’s main parks, Soviet-era and imperial-style buildings, as well as several of the oldest churches in the capital. The tour includes key landmarks such as the Triumphal Arch, the Cathedral, Stephen the Great Monument, Chisinau City Hall, and the main boulevard where many administrative buildings and cultural institutions are located.
Next, get transferred to a local craft brewery. You'll enjoy a fascinating introduction to brewing traditions and a tasting of freshly brewed beer, available only at the brewery. During the brewery tour, you'll learn about the history of beer and the brewery. You'll also visit the production and bottling facilities. The tour concludes with a tasting of three beer styles from the brewery portfolio, straight from the fermentation tank.

At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel.
In the morning after breakfast head to the Dniester Hydropower Plant, close to Dubasari town. It was built between 1951 and 1954 and has an installed capacity of 48 MW. After which we went to Molovata Noua village. Pino Toys, located in Molovata Nouă, Dubăsari district, offers a creative and interactive workshop ideal for families and visitors who want to explore local crafts on Instagram. This destination is becoming increasingly popular on tours in Moldova, offering hands-on workshop activities. PINO also promotes a sustainable way of production: the wood used comes from local sources – fruit trees offered by farmers from Molovata Nouă and neighboring villages. During the workshop, for 1.5 - 2 hours, visitors will participate in a thematic creative workshop, where they will create a wooden toy (sanding, assembling, decorating, painting).
Next, we will visit the Peasant Museum in Molovata Nouă, which is a major cultural destination, offering an authentic insight into rural traditions, historical heritage and village life through preserved exhibitions. Visitors can experience "museum therapy" with a local guide, enjoying the peace of the village, the nature of the Dniester River and the traditional atmosphere. Visitors have the opportunity to learn more about the traditions, customs, and way of life of the peasants in the region, as well as explore traditional architecture and authentic peasant houses, paired with tastings of his personally crafted wines. In Molovata Noua we arrange a cruise (45 minutes) along the serene Dniester River on a spacious boat equipped for the ultimate relaxation. Feel the breeze, soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and forests, and dive into the refreshing waters for a swim in the historic river.
Optionally, we can offer guided ATV tours.
After the boat ride, we went to stay at the
Vila Dorului tourist complex. On the territory of the complex there is a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, children's playground. Dinner and free time. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Old Orhei Tour, Rustic Art Complex with weaving masterclass, Curchi Monastery and cooking class
After breakfast drive to the “Arta Rustică” Folk Crafts Complex. The complex brings together several spaces, including a model “Casa Mare” (traditional main room), a museum of authentic textiles, the “Rusticart” workshop, a training center for traditional crafts, and an exhibition hall dedicated to folk costumes and the Bessarabian carpet. Here, visitors will discover the region’s rich weaving traditions and admire unique examples of traditional folk art.
To conclude the excursion, you will take part in a hands-on weaving masterclass, where you can create your own piece and keep it as a souvenir.
At Old Orhei Reservation, you will have the opportunity to take part in a cooking masterclass, where you will learn to prepare traditional Moldovan pies (plăcinte) using local ingredients. This hands-on experience offers a fun and authentic insight into Moldova’s culinary traditions, and you’ll get to enjoy your creations fresh from the oven.
The masterclass is followed by the visit to Orheiul Vechi, an impressive archaeological and natural site nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage list. Here you will explore the remains of medieval settlements and visit a cave monastery, carved directly into the limestone cliffs and still active today. Lunch time in Old Orhei.
Next, we continue with a visit to Curchi Monastery, one of the most beautiful and significant monastic complexes in the Bessarabia region. Surrounded by forests, orchards and gentle hills, the monastery offers a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere.
Return to the hotel in Chisinau.
Day 4: Pottery House of Vasili Gonciari, Crama Mircești winery with wine tasting and Honey Mansion
Today’s tour begins with a visit to the Pottery House of Vasilii Gonciari in the village of Hoginești - the first tourist complex in Moldova dedicated entirely to the ancient craft of pottery. Set in an area deeply rooted in centuries-old tradition, the site invites visitors to discover and enjoy this timeless art, carefully preserved and promoted.
The complex includes a pottery museum displaying unique and historical pieces, as well as a small shop offering handmade clay pottery and souvenirs — perfect keepsakes from this authentic cultural experience.
You continue with a visit at Crama Mircești. It is a small winery located in the heart of Moldova’s countryside. Created as a place where winemaking traditions meet a modern vision, the winery is known for its focus on quality, terroir expression, and sustainable practices.
During the visit, guests will learn about the winery’s philosophy and production methods, followed by a guided tasting of 5 selected wines, offering an authentic insight into the character and elegance of Mircești wines. Lunch time at the winery.
And the last stop for today is ”Casa Mierii” in Răciula village. The owner is pleased to guide visitors through the process of collection and processing of honey and to explain the many ways of use of the honey and honey products. Also, visitors can taste different types of honey, with walnuts and homemade wine, to mould their own souvenir figures of bee wax, and, of course, to buy the preferred type of honey.
Return to the hotel in Chisinau. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Chisinau International Airport transfer
Morning, get assisted transfer to Chisinau International Airport to fly to onward destination.
